Surya worried about his role in Ponniyin Selvan

There has been much hype even before the release of Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan
which is an adaptation of the greatest ever Tamil historical novel by the same name.
The hype is only justified by the fact that Surya and Vikram are going to share on screen presence in this multi starrer flick.

Reportedly Surya seems to be worried and feels a little insecure acting in the movie since he considers Vikram as a more preferred choice for the lead role which may push Surya in accepting a secondary role for the film.
It has been also observed that the secondary role in a Mani Ratnam venture always has less acting time on screen which has escalated Surya’s worries even more.

After the rumors surfaced it seems Sun Pictures and Madras Talkies are trying their very best to make sure Surya  does not change his mind.  why would they not as Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies seems to be involved in a 125 crore joint deal.
