Hari hails Anjali

That Anjali shaking her legs for a special song in 'Singam 2' is known to many. The unknown thing is that the actress has won the praise of the director.

According to sources, Anjali completed dancing for the peppy number, composed by Devi Sri Prasad, in a very short span of time, and this has fetched her the accolades of team members, especially Hari.
"Director Hari appreciated Anjali for adding value to the movie with her dance performance. Even hero Surya too was happy with the song," sources said.
A sequel to Hari's 2010 blockbuster 'Singam', 'Singam 2' is being made in Tuticorin, Tirunelveli, Chennai and South Africa. Anushka Shetty and Hansika Motwani are the heroines.

Vivek is separate, Santhanam is separate

Comedian Vivek gave a memorable performance in Singam as Yettu Erimalai making him an integral part of the film. His role will most definitely be reprised in Singam 2 as well. But director Hari, who has a good grip over the commercial audience’s demands, has also included Santhanam in the film.

The director is careful in avoiding a clash of screen space between the two star comedians and has reportedly etched out two independent comedy tracks for each of them. While Vivek will return to tickle our ribs as Yettu Erimalai, Santhanam will be introduced in a separate comedy track as a new character to the sequel’s proceedings.

The film stars Surya and Ansuhka with Hansika Motwani added to the sequel.
